Swim Race Video Breakdown
Small details can decide your race time.
Many swimmers lose time in details they cannot clearly see during the race: reaction time, breakout distance, turn execution, pacing, stroke efficiency, breathing decisions, and the finish. This online race video breakdown helps you understand where time may be lost and what technical details you can improve for your next competition.
Instead of only training harder, this service helps you train with clearer priorities. By identifying specific race details, swimmers can improve their race execution and increase their chances of reducing time in future competitions.
Who This Service Is For
This service is ideal for competitive swimmers, masters swimmers, triathletes, and parents who want a clearer understanding of race execution, starts, turns, breakouts, pacing, and stroke efficiency.

How to Record Your Race Video
For the most accurate analysis, please try to record the race from the side of the pool, ideally from the middle, with the entire pool visible in one panoramic shot.
Best Option: Full Pool View
Record the full race in one stable shot where the start, swimming segments, turns, breakouts, and finish can be clearly seen. If the starting system includes a visible light signal, please try to capture it in the video. This helps establish a more accurate start reference for timing and reaction analysis.
Alternative Option: Half-Pool Tracking
If it is not possible to record the entire pool in one panoramic view, you can record the race by sections:
- Start by recording the first half of the pool.
- Make sure the starting signal and the 25m mark are visible.
- Keep the camera stable while the swimmer moves through the first 25m.
- When the swimmer’s head passes the 25m mark, smoothly move the camera to the second half of the pool.
- Continue recording the swimmer until the end of that length.
- Repeat this process for each length of the race.
Please avoid excessive zooming, shaky movement, or following the swimmer too closely if it prevents the race segments, turns, or distance markers from being seen clearly.
Important: The better the video angle, visibility, and stability, the more accurate the race breakdown can be.
